Flooding in the garden, isn’t like flooding in the streets. Gardens are porous, and absorb water into the underground aquifers. Gardens are natural permeable sites for water in an otherwise non-permeable environment, concrete and city streets. This is another important function of community gardens: Anti-Flooding! #communitygardens #antiflooding #naturaldrainage
