Brianna Beyrooty Durych joined LBO in 2023 excited to take on the position of Garden Director. As a Southern California native, Brianna is genuinely enthusiastic about tending to green spaces in urban environments. With more than 8 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Brianna takes immense joy in fostering the growth and success of organizations. She's thrilled to share the benefits of community gardens with our local community.

Hyder grew up watching his mom curate lush garden spaces and always wanted to go play in the dirt himself. It was also at this time when his love for compost began, after he learned about the process in his second-grade classroom. Hyder commits his professional time to the field of impact investing by advising and funding clean technology startups looking to push the needle on environmental impact and slow the pace of our warming planet. His finance background is what brought him to the LBO board, where he supports the organization's future growth and longevity as the Board Treasurer. On weekends, you can find Hyder in the garden learning from one of his plot neighbors, tending to the compost, or getting lost in the magic of the wind gently dancing through his perennials.

My name is Auzzsa and I am a GIS Analyst in the world of environmental preservation. I love conservation and supporting local communities. My priorities are childhood education, community empowerment, and sustainability. When I’m not mapping or listening to youth orchestras, you can find me in the garden, hiking by water, or doing conservation work with friends!
