Located on the 2000 block of Pacific Ave, our newest garden is still a work in progress, but all 24 plots have been taken by local families and garden lovers, who are working together on the common areas to create a unique environment in a crowded urban setting. The Long Beach Redevelopment and the Neighborhood Resources Center were generous in their contributions to this new community resource. An art deco fence blends with the architecture of Wrigley Village, and grape arbors and herb beds grace the central pathway. The emphasis here is on kids, with a large demonstration garden and stepping stones painted by local children. Community workdays are on the second Saturday of each month.
