In partnership with historic Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church at 7th Street and Atlantic Blvd., Long Beach Organic has helped maintain this small green space in the heart of downtown since the spring of 2009. Parishioners and nearby residents garden 16 plots, providing food for their families and extra produce for the church’s homeless outreach program. A small orchard was planted in 2010 with trees donated by Tree People.
